this is a song that if it came on the radio and you had no idea who it was, you’d still listen to it and love it. these guys deserve to be on the radio.

the look in your eyes, makes me wanna die
smith westerns just released this song on a split 7” with magic kids (on fat possum records), who we’ve posted about before. this song is actually from last year, but i thought it was still worthy a post. it’s really great, a bit more clean sounding than their debut album, which is one of my favourite albums from last year.
oh, and if you’ve heard all this before, check out teenage lovers, it’s their singers side project. i think he’s only made four songs or something, but they’re all really great.
